Xiaomi Smart Band 11 Active Drops to €29.99

The Xiaomi Smart Band 11 Active is now listed at €29.99 on Amazon with a coupon, down from its €39.99 launch price, according to Frandroid. The coupon runs until October 31, 2026. For endurance athletes, this is a cheap, lightweight activity band rather than a serious training watch, but the core pitch is clear: continuous health tracking, swim-ready water resistance and long claimed battery life for very little money.
Built for everyday wear, not serious watch bulk
At 18 g without its strap and 10.2 mm thick, the Band 11 Active should disappear on the wrist. That matters for sleep tracking and for athletes who dislike wearing a larger watch around the clock. Its 5 ATM rating supports swimming, though Frandroid says it is not suitable for diving, hot showers or saunas. The 1.47-inch rectangular TFT display has a 172 x 320 resolution, 247 PPI and a 60 Hz refresh rate. Xiaomi also offers more than 100 watch faces.
It works with Android phones and iPhones through the Mi Fitness app. That app is also the key to its usefulness beyond casual step counting: Frandroid reports synchronisation with Strava and Apple Health. For runners who simply want sessions to land in Strava, that removes a common budget-band annoyance. It does not turn the Xiaomi into a full training platform, but it makes the data easier to keep alongside the rest of our kit.
Basic sensors, broad tracking
The sensor list is modest: a PPG heart-rate sensor, accelerometer and ERM motor. PPG is an optical wrist method, used here for continuous heart-rate monitoring and SpO2 tracking. Xiaomi also includes all-day stress and sleep monitoring, menstrual-cycle tracking for relevant users, and 50 workout modes. This is a wide feature list at the price, especially for someone wanting a simple band for gym sessions, recovery habits and general movement rather than precise endurance metrics.
Battery claims need a careful read. Frandroid’s detailed specifications say Xiaomi rates the band for up to eight days of “normal” use and up to 21 days with moderate use. So the 21-day headline is not the everyday expectation if we use the features heavily. A full charge takes three hours with the included magnetic cable. Still, even the lower stated figure is useful for athletes who want sleep data without constantly finding another charging slot.
What is missing is just as important. The cited specifications do not mention built-in GPS, a barometric altimeter, ECG capability, or advanced training analysis. That leaves the Band 11 Active better suited to basic activity and wellness tracking than to pacing a race or analysing elevation. Athletes looking for Xiaomi’s more ambitious health hardware should look at the company’s [Xiaomi Watch 5 with its ECG sensor](/en/articles/xiaomi-watch-5-adds-emg-sensor-before-garmin-and-apple-2026-05-16), rather than expecting it from this inexpensive band.
Verdict: at €29.99, the Smart Band 11 Active is a sensible lightweight companion for everyday tracking, swimming and Strava logging. For structured runners, cyclists and triathletes, it is a complement to a proper sports watch, not a replacement.
