Garmin Finally Shows Live Battery Status

Garmin Connect now displays live battery status for paired devices , a feature iPhone owners have had natively since iOS 14 in 2020. The change, buried in an update with no official announcement, was spotted first on Reddit.

Android owners are still waiting for this feature. Currently, Garmin devices only show battery life as a percentage when connected to Wi-Fi or via the 'Battery' setting within the device menu , not live during activities.

For context, Apple Watch users have had real-time battery status since Series 2, and other competitors like Polar and Coros also provide this feature.
