New Garmin Venu Leaked: Soft Gold Finish and Fenix Metrics

Garmin has quietly released a new Venu model, and the first images show a Soft Gold colorway paired with a French Grey nylon band. This is a lifestyle-first watch, but Garmin is clearly pushing it toward serious athletes by borrowing metric depth from the Fenix lineup.

The ultra-thin chassis has always been the Venu's selling point over chunkier competitors like the Fenix 8 or the Apple Watch Ultra 2. If Garmin keeps that profile while adding training load, HRV status, and recovery insights at Fenix level, that is a real upgrade for athletes who want data without the bulk.

For context, the Venu 3 already tracked sleep, naps, and wheelchair mode alongside solid GPS accuracy. The question is whether this new version closes the gap on Coros Pace 3 or Polar Pacer Pro in terms of pure training analytics, or stays more in Apple Watch Series 10 territory as a daily hybrid.

No official specs or pricing are confirmed yet. Watch this space for full numbers once Garmin makes it official.

Solid start on paper. The Fenix metrics angle is the one detail that matters most for endurance athletes. Need to see the full spec sheet before calling it.
