Polar H10 and H9 Firmware 4.1.10 Brings Battery and Android 15 Fixes

Polar H10 and H9 Firmware 4.1.10 Brings Battery and Android 15 Fixes

Polar has pushed firmware updates to both its H10 and H9 chest straps: version 4.1.10 for the H10 and 2.1.10 for the H9. The two changes on the table are better power efficiency and improved connectivity with Android 15 devices.

Battery life matters more than most athletes admit. The H10 already runs on a single CR2032 for roughly 400 hours of use, so any efficiency gain on top of that is welcome, even if Polar has not published a specific percentage improvement yet.

The Android 15 connectivity fix is the more immediately practical update for a large chunk of users. Bluetooth pairing issues between chest straps and newer Android builds have been a known friction point, and this targets that directly. If you pair your H10 to a Samsung or Pixel running Android 15, this update is worth grabbing today.

The H10 remains the most accurate consumer chest strap on the market, sitting ahead of the Garmin HRM-Pro Plus in raw ECG signal quality according to multiple independent tests. The H9 sits just below it at a lower price, without the memory or Bluetooth dual-channel feature. Neither update changes core accuracy, but keeping firmware current matters for reliable ANT+ and Bluetooth dual connections to devices like a Garmin Forerunner 965 or a Wahoo ELEMNT.

Small update, real value. If you train with either strap, install it.
