Garmin CIRQA: $420 Price Justified?

The leaked price of Garmin's upcoming smartwatch, CIRQA, has surfaced at $420. This is higher than the hoped-for range of $200-$300. Here's why Garmin might justify this premium pricing.

Garmin isn't new to high-end pricing. The Fenix 7X Solar retails for $899.99, and the Forerunner 945 is priced at $649.99. CIRQA, being a smartwatch with fitness features, might sit between these models in terms of price.

At $420, CIRQA could offer advanced features like built-in music storage, contactless payments, and premium materials (stainless steel, sapphire glass). It's also expected to have GPS, heart rate tracking, and multi-GNSS support , features found in Garmin's higher-end wearables.

However, at this price point, CIRQA should match or exceed the performance of its competitors. Compare it with the Apple Watch Series 7 ($399), Coros APEX Pro II ($425), and Whoop 4.0 (starting at $30/month).

Verdict: Not perfect. But solid. For Garmin loyalists, $420 might be worth it for the brand's ecosystem integration and advanced fitness features.
